While we may be a few months late with these announcements, the James Beard Awards were presented in May and at least to me it looks like New York City cleaned up the food oscars again with winners in Best Restaurant Design (75 seats and under), Outstanding Service, Outstanding Pastry Chef, Outstanding Restauranteur, Rising Star Chef of the Year, Outstanding Restaurant and Outstanding Chef.
I might just be biased as a born and raised New Yorkers but if your looking for the best and most diverse restaurants in the world, you just cant beat New York City. Congrats to all the winners, the full list can be seen HERE
